For our Grand Finale International
Workshop, masterful conductor-trainer Rodney Eichenberger
is planning the greatest choral workshop experience ever, designed to elevate your work as
conductor, artist, and teacher. Daily conducting instruction and master classes will include
sessions on score study, rehearsal techniques, nonverbal communication, and creative rehearsal
strategies.
Those wishing to be active master class conductors should contact Prof. Eichenberger at
Florida State University: tel: 850-644-5084; fax: 850-644-6100. Master class
conductors will conduct in a public performance.
The International Workshops Chorus will rehearse and sing Schubert's Mass
in G under the direction of Dr. Eichenberger, with a performance in one of Graz's
beautiful churches.

Music Education by MENC Past President
June Hinckley, The Conductor and the Accompanist by
Jean Barr, and Robert
